2 Medium techincal questions passed

Onsite interview (4 rounds):

Round 1: [System Design]

  • Design a metrics system for the product I was interviewing for, this round went pretty good but could have had some stumbles.

Round 2: [Coding]

Round 3: [Coding]

  • https://leetcode.com/problems/word-ladder I've seen this question before and only had 30 minutes to solve it, I solved it on my own and was given one small optimization hint I did not ask for
  • More behavioral questions

Round 4:

  • Amazon leadership principle questions

I'm sort of shocked I didn't get the offer. I solved all of the questions optimally and efficiently. I know I did that as these questions are on leetcode. I'm generally very good at behaviorial questions, but there could have been some kind of mess up there. Since I have my previous interview experience and current role to compare I think I did exteremely well in this interview, maybe the best/luckiest I have ever gotten. Any ideas why they would reject me? Maybe my experience didn't match up?
