Business Analyst - II At Amazon India

I recently went through an interview process with Amazon for the position of Business Analyst and have been eagerly awaiting the results for the past week. The interview process was highly structured and comprised a total of five rounds.

The initial round was a SQL test screening round, where the interviewer shared their screen and presented a SQL query question that had already been provided in the application. Our task was to write the SQL query and explain it if the interviewer asked. The interviewer reviewed our queries and, if they appeared correct, presented additional SQL questions. In my case, the interviewer asked me to write and explain three SQL queries. Following this, the interviewer provided insights into the role and the company's work culture.

Approximately two weeks later, my next three rounds were scheduled one after the other, with the final round scheduled for the following day. In these second, third, and fourth rounds, I encountered scenario-based questions related to Amazon's leadership principles. The last round followed a similar pattern, with a focus on these leadership principles.

I subsequently reached out to the recruiter, who informed me that the interviewers would collaborate and share the results soon.

While the first round was conducted online, the remaining four rounds were initially intended to be in-person. However, since I was not based in the same city, they were organized online using Amazon Chime, their communication platform.
