This is a overview of the whole process and how it took place. How Lytx hires Offcampus

I will explain the whole process and your questions will get answered overall through this.

Round 1: Shortlisting

I was quite active on LinkedIn and suddenly got a message from a recruiter who had shared the Job details and link to apply for the job.

Round 2: Negotiation call

After applying for the job the recruiter scheduled a meeting and had a negotiation call with the recruiter.

Round 3: Online Assesment

After the negoatiation call, the recuiter shared a hackerrank online assesment link.

Time Alloted : 45 minutes
Difficulty of the Questions: Medium
I was able to solve both the questions

Round 4: Technical Interview

Time alloted: 60 mins
Two interviewers are there in the call.

• Shared a small NodeJS assesment link.
  Where a small task had to be implemented using NodeJS (time alloted:45 mins).
  I was able to complete it and make it work as expected.
• I was asked about Different Types of API's (Rest, Soap, Web Sockets, etc.) and their pros and cons.
• Middlewares, error codes, authentication and authorization.
• about callbacks, non-blocking nature of NodeJS, etc.
  I was able to answer all the questions.

Round 5: Hiring Manager Round

Theme of the Round: HLD Round

• I was asked to design a Online Streaming System like hotstar (maybe because the company works on Telematics).
  I was not expecting this as the previous interview were quite easy. (I was able to answer it as I was preparing for HLD and LLD lately)
• Then I was asked some behavioral questions related to my previous work.

Round 6: Meeting with the Director of Engineering (India)

• In this round we had a brief discussion about my learning and experiences in previous work.
• Discussed about new technologies like web 3, chatgpt.
• Discussion related to devops (had to skip this as i had no experience in devops)
• This round also went well.

Round 7: Meeting with the Director of Engineering (Israel)

• This interview round was supposed to happen, but did not happened (postponed 3 times) as the interviewer was sick and out of office.
• After this they said they have enough information about me to roll out the offer.
