Applied in mid September. Got OA within a week.

OA1: Debugging
OA2: 2 algorithm questions
OA3: Work simulation

(pretty standard new grad stuff for amazon)

Final Virtual Rounds:
Round 1: (45 mins)

Round 2: (45 mins)

  • LP Questions
  • https://leetcode.com/problems/4sum/
    • Done this one before (told interviewer and he was okay with it) and got an optimal solution pretty quickly
    • There was a slight optimization he had to guide me towards, but it didnt change run time

Round 3: (45 mins)

  • LP Question
  • Coded out a tic tac toe api
    • pretty easy tbh, just had to account for a new move and checking for game over
    • had to only account for horizontal/vertical wins, needed to account for client potentially making illegal moves (wrong person playing, putting in an already played spot, etc)

Honestly all the interviews seemed to go pretty well, interviewers seemed pretty happy with my responses to technical and behavioral, second intervewier was a little unexcited but didnt seem too bad. Make sure you have good answers for all types of LP questions. Its the easiest part to nail with <5 hours of prep required to think of good reponses.

Honestly I'm anxious as hell for their response, based on this description, what do you guys think my chances are?

Edit: Yeet, secured the package folks. Thanks for the kind words!
