Introduction:
🌟📝 I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Deloitte USI off-campus recruitment process through their National Level Assessment (NLA) program. After applying and clearing the online assessment, I was shortlisted for the technical interview round. Here, I would like to share my interview experience and the outcome. ✨💼
Online Assessment (OA):
🖥️ The NLA online assessment comprised both aptitude and coding questions. The aptitude questions were quite challenging, while the coding questions were of medium difficulty. I managed to solve all the coding questions and submitted the test within the allotted time frame, which I believe was approximately 3 hours. Unfortunately, I do not recall the exact details of the coding questions. 💡💻
Clearing the NLA:
✅📬 After a few months, I received an email stating that I had successfully cleared the NLA and was shortlisted for the next round, which was the technical interview. I was given the flexibility to schedule the interview at a convenient date and time.
The Technical Interview:
💼💡 On the scheduled interview day, I arrived fully prepared and confident. The interviewer was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. The interview began with the interviewer introducing herself and then asked me to introduce myself.
The interviewer asked a range of questions, starting with basic topics such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) and Database Management Systems (DBMS). She then delved into my core engineering subjects, which focused on Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Some of the topics covered included semiconductors, diodes, PN Junction diode properties, and different logic gates such as AND, NOT, and NOR. She even asked me to write a truth table based on a given equation. Additionally, she inquired about other core engineering topics that I am unable to recall at the moment. 📚💡🔌
Next, the interviewer transitioned to coding questions. She presented me with three coding questions. I vividly remember solving an Anagram question, where she asked me to code all the approaches I had considered. Another question involved finding the majority element, which I successfully solved. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the details of the third coding question. 💻💡✍️
Following the coding questions, the interviewer shifted the focus towards my projects and internship experience. She asked me to explain one of my projects in detail, and I shared the insights and challenges faced during its execution.
Outcome:
🎉📬 I thoroughly enjoyed my interview experience at Deloitte USI. I was able to answer most of the questions confidently, which contributed to my positive outcome. After a few months, I received the delightful news that I had successfully cleared the round and was offered the role of Analyst Trainee at Deloitte USI. 🤩📝🎉
Conclusion:
🌟🌟 Participating in the Deloitte USI recruitment process through the NLA program was a rewarding experience. The technical interview allowed me to showcase my knowledge and skills in various domains, including engineering and coding. I am excited to embark on this new journey as an Analyst Trainee and contribute to Deloitte USI's growth and success. 🚀💼🔥
