I had a quick conversation with a recruiter for a role in Seattle to which I expressed an interest in a role in Toronto Office. After being pointed to the right recruiter, I got set up for a phone screen:

Phone screen:

• Leadership Principles questions
• merge two sorted arrays https://leetcode.com/problems/merge-sorted-array
• write a Trie and follow up questions

Got invited to a on screen to interview with the team - 5 rounds and a lunch.

Round 1: [Bar Raiser]

• LP questions (30 minutes)
• Given a set of die (varying sizes) with characters instead of numbers check whether a word can be formed
  • Follow-up: can we do better than exponential time and testing?

Round 2: [Hiring Manager]

• LP questions

Round 3:

• LP questions (20 mins)
• https://leetcode.com/problems/binary-tree-zigzag-level-order-traversal Gave a recursive solution and then followed up with a iterative solution

Round 4:

• Longest slope in a map, could only go downwards [DFS with memoization, took 10 mins] spent the rest of the interview with LP questions

Round 5: [System Design]

• Discuss projects
• Design UberEats and follow up

For prep I had completed 60-70 leetcode questions, mostly medium difficulty and read through a dozen solutions after working manually and system design from grokking.
