Hi all,

This post is about my fourth interview experience after being laid-off.

A bit of background about me

So, I had around 1 year and 4 months of experience before being laid-off from my company.

The situation was horiffic considering I lost my touch with DSA and given the market scenario at the time.

Took a day to cool down and then created accounts on every popular job board, took linkedIn premium trial for a month.

So coming back to my 4th Interview experience

Company - Decentro
Location - Bengaluru | Hybrid
Position: SDE -1 Backend
EXP required: 1-3 YOE

Applied on wellfound, got a call after a week

** 1st Round **
* DBMS concepts
* Valid paranthesis
* Typical behvioural ques


Acc. to me, the interviewer wasn't a tech person, he was just there to collect my answers in a doc

Got call after two days for Round 2

** 2nd Round **
* Rotten Oranges : Told them my approach, dry ran on it which was correct but still interviewer insisted on using his approach even though it doesn't contibuted in bringing TC and SC lower.
* Too much time was wasted over above ques.
* Diff b/w POST, PUT, PATCH
* REST APIs
* Indexing in DBMS


*** Feedback ***
* It came negative, I knew it somehow.
Self - Realisation after Feedback

* maybe positive that I wasn't selected for a team where my ideas aren't heard
