Hello everyone, I am Anjali gupta , 3rd year electrical engineering (2020-2024) student at nit Jalandhar.
Today I am going to share my intern interview experience of reliance industries limited.
RIL came for a Campus drive at our college for the core branches- ee, ece, me , che , tt etc.

There were three rounds of interview process :-
First round was a written test. The written examination comprised two parts: - Aptitude & Domain
Knowledge (Your Branch Specific). The aptitude Test was of half an hour in which a total of 30 questions
were asked comprising Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Verbal Reasoning. And half an hour in which
total of 50 questions were asked of my ( electrical ) domain from -
• Electrical Machine
• Power electronics
• And other core subjects of electrical branch.

Those who cleared the test were called for the interview.Wriiten examination results were declared by
our placement committee . Those who cleared were asked to fill the Campus Application form which
mainly comprised of Basic Details and the following HR Questions :-
1- Where do you see your professional career in the next 2 years?
2- What do you like to do in free time?
3- What are your strengths & Areas of Improvement (Mention Two)
4- How will you describe your personality?
5- Who is your role model? Explain why?
6- Your Achievements (Academics & Extra-Curricular)
The reason why I have mentioned each questions is because mostly questions that they will ask related
to HR will be from this application form only so prepare your answers accordingly which you can justify.

Then come to second round which is a technical round , because they want a cheating free environment so it was conducted at TPO office on Microsoft teams.

There were two 2 interviewers. some questions that interviewer asked me were :-
Give your introduction , there were some panels so in my panel I was at 4th No. Before me my friends
were there and we were working on a same project so as I mentions about my project in introduction
she came to know this so they didn't ask me about project very much , only asked my role and how we are managing it.
Then she ask me about my favorite subject I said electrical machine so she asked about that ,
what is synchronous motor , generator , difference between synchronous motor and induction motor , ac and dc generator , losses in transformer how we reduce them , power factor , difference between AI and ML. She also ask me about AWS because of my project and other basic questions from power electronics and EM as i mentioned it my fav subject.

Through out the interview the interviewer was listening me and was asking questions parallelly
sometimes. In the end, she wished me luck and told me that you may leave now ! this round ended in 10-15 minutes.

Third round was a HR round.
Here also there were also two interviewer, Questions they asked give your brief introduction , your
long term goal , what are your hobbies , do you want to peruse higher studies or will you take any
course or something , is there any known who is in government service or doctor or ca etc. I don’t know
why they asked this question anyways. They also ask why do you want to work in reliance so I told them about the project they came for and show them my interest in that project.This round ended in 10-12 minutes.

So these are some question that I have remembered .After some days result came and I was selected.
Overall if you know the basics of your domain subjects and have the knowledge about the company and its project they come for you will definately got the chance to work with Reliance.

From the written test they took 45 student , and after all rounds overall 11 students got the internship.
