Infineon Technologies visited our campus in March 2023(virtually) for software and hardware interns. I applied for a software role. They conducted 1 online round + 2 rounds of interviews, and finally the HR Discussion.

Round 1(Aptitude + Technical MCQ):

• This round was held on GeeekAssess.com platform which had third eye proctoring( an extra mobile phone was needed for this).
• There were 10 sections including OOPs, Machine Learning, Aptitude, Microcontrollers, Web Development, Embedded C, Python, C++, Digital Electronics. Each section had a time limit of about 10-13 minutes. Total time for the test was 90 minutes.

Round 2 (Technical Interview - 1):

• Interviewer asked to present screen. He gave a coding question. Asked me to take a random integer array, and sort the array using Bubble Sorting technique.
• After sorting the array, he asked to apply binary search on the array, and asked about time complexities.
• Interviewer started asking from the core subjects, like Operating System, Computer Networks and Database Management Systems.

Round 3 (Technical Interview - 2):

• Interviewer gave a program related to file handling.
• After doing that program, interviewer started asking about core fundamentals, gave some SQL queries to write.

After clearing both the rounds, I was conveyed that I have been selected and on the very next day, HR discussion was scheduled. HR discussion went well and finally I was selected for the role.
