The hiring process had in all 4 rounds. They are described as follows:

  1. Online Coding Round
  2. Syatem Design Round
  3. Technical Round - Whiteboarding Questions
  4. Culture Fit Round
    Each round was an eliminartion round. The compensation for the job was performance-based.

Round 1
Online Coding Round - The following questions were asked in this round:

Candidates were free to use internet and were expected to mail the responses to the HR of the company after 60 - 70 minutes.

Round 2
System Design Round (45 minutes) - The candidate was asked to design a system giventhe abstract details. The following details were provided:

  1. card game
  2. 'M' players
  3. The player with highest score will win
  4. each card has a number associated with it
  5. the goal id to score the maximum. Score is the sum of the numbers on the vcards possessed by the player
    Using OOP concepts, design the such a game.

Round 3
Technical Witeboarding Round (60 miniutes) - The following questions were asked:

  1. https://leetcode.com/problems/intersection-of-two-linked-lists/
  2. Given an array of n+2 elements in which the elements are in range of 1 to n. All the elements in the array occur once except two numbers which occur twice. Find those two repeating numbers in the array.
  3. https://leetcode.com/articles/minimum-add-to-make-parentheses-valid/

Round 4
Culture Fit Round - Conversation with VP of the company. The puzzles were asked along with grilling the resume. The following puzzles were asked:

  2. http://www.mytechinterviews.com/gold-for-7-days-of-work
    This round was to check the truthfulness of the candidate. The VP grinded the minute details of the statements made by the candidate. In a nutshell, this round was more like a personality test along with testing the problem solving skills. It was to check the attitute of the candidate to tackle the situation at hand.
