Interviews:
Technical Online Assessment (1 hr):
- IQ test-like questions
- 5-10 code debugging questions
- Had to read some paragraphs and answer multiple choice questions about them. Similar to easy SAT questions
Behavior Screen:
- Series of situational questions (1-1.5 hr) (ex: deadline for your project is in two days but to properly implement it will take a week, what do you do? etc). Study the 14 Amazon core principles and you'll be fine.
Technical Online Assessment (1 hour):
- Write a function to tell if two rectangles are overlapping given two opposite corners for each rectangle
- some other easy question
Onsite (1 round):
- Tour of Seattle Office, Lunch and then a weird technical interview where the whole group (~30 interviewers) sat at a desk and were asked about the solutions to the same questions in the online technical screen (???).
Details:
A couple days later everyone in our onsite group got a call from a recruiter telling us the quota for 2017 was full so we were rejected, but around May 2018 I got a call from a recruiter saying I was hired, she asked for a preference of location and date.
