Sharing my interview experiance at Hitachi Vantara for Associate role. it was online drive
Hitachi Vantara comes with their placement drive(On-Campus Opportunity) for associate role with 5 LPA.
- 1st Round: Coding + MCQ
There are two basic hands-on problem on array and string, if you solved atleast 150 to 200 problems on leetcode related to array and string. then you will easily solve this problems.
and there are 80 MCQ Questions on data structure, Aptitude, Basic funadmentals of Computers and Some basic web development related.
After 15 to 20 days of exams, Result was declare and 90 out of 1400 candidates were shorlisted for 2nd round and i am one of them.
After 5 days of result, i got mail for technical round.
- 2nd Round: Techincal Interview
Interviewer: Hello Krushna, how are you?
Me: Hello Ma'am, i am good, what about you?
Interviewer: I'm also good, thank you.! Ok, so there is singing and Cooking in your resume as hoobiee, you have unique combination of hobbiee's. that's nice!
Me: Yes ma'am, Thank you.
Interviewer: So you follow any Cooking show, like cheif master or something else
Me: No ma'am, i just love to make some new dishes and serve it to family members. i watch video on youtube to learn new dish.
Interviewer: Oh, That's great, If you will select for this role, we will definately eat some dishes of yours coocked.
Me: Sure Ma'am, It's my pleasure, i will make some which are your fav. and if i don't know the reciepy, i will learn and prepare for you.
Interviewer: (Smiled a little) Oh, So sweet of you. i love your attitude.
Me: Thank you Ma'am.
After that she introduced herself
Interviewer: Ok so let's start the interview
Me: Sure, Ma'am
Interviewer: Tell me about your family.
Me: Answerd
Interviewer: What are your techincal skills?
Me: Answerd.
Interviewer: Are you familier with web devlopment? (while telling about techincal skills i don't mentioned about web development. she was trying to test me.)
Me: Yes ma'am, i have some idea about web development.
Then she asked me some basic questions like:
- How many heading tags are there?
- How to import css and javascript file in html file.
- Why we need javascript for web development.
- What are static pages?
I answerd all the questions, but while answering to "How many heading tags are there?", i was confused, i told that, actually i don't know the accurate count. but if we use h1 tag, it will gives us the highest font size and h2 will give less font size as campare to h1 and so on.
After this answer, she told me that, there are 6 heading tag.
And some basic questions on OOP
- What is classes and object?
- Difference between Overloading and Overriding.
- What are Encapsulation
- And some basic questions on DBMS.
I answerd all the quetions.
Interviewer: If you have any question for me then you can ask.
Me: Yes ma'am.
So i asked two question:
- When any fresher's Join to Hitachi Vantara, what are the problems that candidate mostly faced, so i will prepare for that?
- Throught this interview, What are the suggestion, you want to give me?
She explaned very well. and told that, okay krushna wait for the result, best of luck, and have a nice day.
Technical round was for 20 to 25 Minutes.
After three days of interview i got call from Hitachi Vantara, and told that you are shortlisted for next round.
And HR round scheduled on same day.
- 3rd Round: HR Round
Interviewer: Hello Krushna, How are you?
Me: I am fine and you?
Interviewer: I am good, so What are your hobbies?
Me: Singing and Cooking
And Again some discussion on Cooking.
Interviewer: Which is your faviroute holiday destination.
Me: Answerd
And HR round was 7 to 8 min.
After two days of HR round 19 Students were selected for Associate role and i was one of them.
