Coding Questions based on
In this round, MCQs were of medium to hard difficulty level, time consuming. No negative marking. Some questions on based on Java Springboot, Mongodb also. Code Output questions based on Java OOPs, Python, C++.
35 students were selected from 120+ students.
2nd Round (Virtual Interview):
In this round, VP of Barclays were supposed to take interview. The VP was very friendly, chill. She asked only HR questions to me but it depends on interviewer. Some of my friends were asked to answer hard questions of C++, Java. Prepare OOPs, DBMS concept very well. I was asked some basic questions based on project mentioned on resume. Prepare resume very well. There is 100% probability of questions from resume. Add live demos links, github links, ppts links in resume. It was not a interview for me, it was a friendly discussion. She was very happy with the work I did. She asked me have you enjoyed college life ? You did alot of technical things. She told to enjoy college life :).
Few questions on internship which I did. Thats all she ended the call after 40-45 min. She indirectly told I am positive, You will get job. :)
After 8 hours HR sent list of 14 selected student. I was one of them. (Best moment in my life)
Result: Selected
The most important advice "Never lose hope". I was rejected by multiple companies for both internship as well as for placements. I did 6 month unpaid internship. People used to laugh at me just because I worked without a single rupee but trust me it helped alot in placement process.
It made my resume very strong. My interviewer told me that you did alot of technical things than other students. Their are multiple free resources available on youtube. I have not spent money on paid course but if content is strong spend money.
Try try and try. You might face alot of failures never lose hope.
Practise DSA as much as you can. Dynamic Programming decides the package. I was asked DP problems in all coding tests.
