It all started with a phone call where job details and expectations were set. It was good and clear communication.

Interview rounds are :

Round 1 - Coding round where they shared a GitHub project with all the descriptions related to the problem. It was related to creating two functions to decode and encode.

Round 2 - It was a pure technical round related to your area and things that are new in the market to see if you have exposure to.
It was related to C#, Solid Principles, Design Patterns, and a few questions related to old projects I have done. The best part was the questions were general to see your understanding of the concept.

Few Questions -

  1. Liskov and Dependecy Inversion principle
  2. TDD
  3. RabbitMQ - General discussion about the use case.

Round 3 - Unique experience for me as I faced this for the first time. It was a pair programming round where the interviewer had set up everything with code and related unit test cases. He will run the test cases and we need to fix the test cases by providing logic. This was more to understand if one can work in a pair programming environment or not.

After that, it was mostly managerial and HR rounds which involves discussions around project and salary negotiations.
