My Experience -

1. I was asked to choose any question to start with. I wasted my time in 2nd problem as I have solved word ladder i previously. I was not able to solve it and was in serious time pressure.
2. The interviwer was SDE1. I guess he wanted a working solution for both questions. I felt it was a one sided communication and this was his first time interviewing candidates.

I did pretty bad myself and none to blame for the result. Hope this helps.

Verdict: Rejected after round 2
