Current Employment Status (At the time of interviews) -
Status: Full Time Employee at Barclays
Position: Java Developer (BA3)
Location: Pune, India
Date: July 2021.

I applied through the VMware Careers Page with a referral. The complete process consisted of 2 technical rounds, 1 system design round, and 1 managerial round.
The first 3 rounds were kept on the same day.

1. Round 1 - Coding (Data Structures & Algorithms) (1 hour)
   This round consisted of 2 questions based on Stacks and Strings. Both the questions were a Medium Level.
   The code is expected to be a production ready code and the code is tested for various types of inputs on the codepair link.
   The codepair link has compiler in it. So, make sure to cover all edge cases and minimise bugs.
   Time & Space Complexities are also a must.

2. Round 2 - Coding (Data Structures & Algorithms) (1 hour)
   This round consisted of 2 questions based on Linked List and Trees. Both the questions were a Medium Level as well.
   Rest of the things are similar to Round 1.

3. Round 3 - System Design (HLD) (1 hour)
   I was asked to design a URL Shortener Service. The interviewer was really helpful and guided me towards the most optimal solution of implementing it.

4. Round 4 - Managerial Round (1 hour)
   The managerial round went ahead very smoothly. The manager asked me a couple of questions on DFS and Linked List with right and down pointers.
   Then he asked some behavioral questions to see whether I am fit for the team or not.

Then the recruiter sent me a mail in about a month that I was accepted and stating my compensation details.

PS - I have accepted the offer and now working in VMware. :)
