Recruiter reached out to me over LinkedIn asking if I am interested in applying for Slice. Scheduled my round-1. Both interviewers were great and had good knowledge.
Round-1 (Android Basics + Problem Solving):
They asked about android activity lifecycle, my previous experience (internships only as I was a fresher), ViewModel, ViewModel survival, ViewModelStoreOwner, ViewModelStore, LiveData, image caching libraries, repository pattern, basics about architecture and other things like this only.

Round-2 (Android Architecture + Android Design):
asked about activity lifecycle, asked to write a whole pseudo code for doing the network call for login page - I used viewModel, Model classes, retrofitbuilder, APIInterface, LiveData, Activity and build a pseudo code but there were some mistakes
Asked different scenarios of android lifecycle like what happens in configuration changes and how,
you just can't answer it with sequence, you have to share that when onCreate() is called and when onDestroy() of previous activity is called while moving from one activity to another.

Received rejection

Both rounds were done over Hackerrank. The HR was also helpful and shared the feedback as soon as they got it.

Overall, it was a great experience as I never had to write pseudo code for android interviews.
