Interview Process

A recruiter reached out to me via linkedin for an open SDE2 posiition at Amazon Hyerdabad office.
The interview consisted of 1 Hackerrank round, 3 + 1(bar raiser) onsite rounds. All the rounds were of 1 hour each.

1. Round 1: Amazon | SDE2 | Online Assesment
   
2. Round 2:
   • 2 question based on Leadership Principle
   • 2 DSA questions based on graph colouring and merging sorted arrays with follow ups.
   • My view: Hire
3. Round 3:
   • 2 question based on Leadership Principle
   • 1 HLD question based on Notification system and several techniques to notify users, their pros/cons and use cases.
   • My view: Hire
4. Round 4:
   • 2 question based on Leadership Principle
   • Resume Deep Dive + 1 HLD question based on building any reservation system and integrating it to Amazon App
   • My view: Strong Hire
5. Round 5 (Bar Raiser):
   • 3 question based on Leadership Principle
   • 1 DSA questions based on topological sorting with several follow ups.
   • My view: Hire

1. Received the offer next week and that was one of the best day of my life so far.

Overall Experience

It was a very smooth and wonderfull experience. The recruiter and interviewer were kind enough to postpone one of my interview round as requested by me.
