Position: MTS at Mentor Graphics

It was via referral so directly got the call for interview

Virtual On-site: All rounds were elimination
Round 1: 5 min introduction, 55 min coding (DS)+ OOPS

• LC Medium (LinkedList). Solved perfectly similar to reverse of a linked list
• LC Easy (Stacks). Solved perfectly., was easy one
  Asked about various sorting algos and practical applications of data structures

Round 2: 30min Intro+Past Experience+ 90 min coding (Problem-solving)

• LC Hard (Tree). Brute->better->optimal solved perfectly, seemed to be impressed
• LC Hard (DP). Famous DP problem. Gave the recurssive solution followed bt memoization then space optimisation
• LC Medium(Bitwise+Array). Solved one part fully but needed some hint for the follow up.
  Last one puzzle was asked from gfg in which i struggled a lot:3

Round 3: 20 min intro+past project discussion, 50 min coding

• LC Medium (Tree). Brute->better->optimal solved perfectly, seemed to be impressed. Famous tree question
• LC Medium (Graph). Had to figure out the relation between graph and tree via code.
• LC Hard(DP+Tree). New question for me but was able to solve it.

Round 4(Final Round): Taken by the manager of the Team
No codes were asked as I had done pretty well in my previous rounds he seemed to be impressed.
Had a discussion on how Satellites work in real life, then the work that Mentor Graphics does and few theoritical questions on CS fundamentals which was just asked for formality. Then he asked me about my expectation of salary and Welcomed me in the team.
