1st round
Aptitude and C programming questions, 30 questions, 1 hour time.

2nd round - HR interview questions
It was about a 20 mins interview. (Yes, it's strange that HR was before the 2 technical interviews. I think it was arranged so that we could express our domain of interest.)
Here are the questions:
- Introduce yourself
- Why do you want to join us?
- Which technology/stack are you interested in? [They had java, CRM, PowerApps, PowerBI, Business analytics, and cloud infrastructure]
- Planning for masters?
- What’s your family background? Where does your father work?
- Is the 2-year bond ok with you? (2,00,000 INR)
3rd round - Technical Interview questions - Java
It was a half-hour interview on ms teams.
Here are the questions:
- Introduce yourself
- 4 pillars of OOPS and explain them
- What is method overloading and method overriding? What about their return types?
- Difference between abstract classes and interfaces
- Types of searching algorithms
- How does bubble sort work
- Write pseudo code for binary search. What’s its time complexity?
- Given an unsorted array of integers, how will you remove duplicates
- Given a character array, how will you reverse it? Till what length of the string, you will traverse.
- Which SDLC do you know? What are the steps in it?
- How is the Java platform independent?
- What new features were added in Java 8?
- Why are strings in java immutable?
- Difference between checked and unchecked exceptions in java
- Explain your java springboot project. Which technologies does it use? In that group of 4 what work did you do?
- Any questions for me?
4th round - Final Interview Questions
Interviewer had 16 years of experience in Synoptek.
It was a half-hour interview on ms teams.
Here are the questions asked to me:
- Introduce yourself
- What are the fundamentals of OOP?
- What is the difference between abstraction and encapsulation?
- Which versions of JDK have you used?
- What are the new features of JDK 8?
- What are lambda expressions?
- What is collections API?
- What sorting algorithm does hashmap internally use?
- Which databases have you worked with?
- What are database triggers?
- (In databases,) What are stored procedures and functions?
- (In databases,) Which normalisation forms do you know? Explain them.
- Full form of BCNF?
- What type of joins do you know? What is the difference between inner join and left inner join?
- Any questions for me?
(The following 5 HR questions were scattered among the technical questions)
- Thought for higher studies or masters?
- Where do you see yourself 2-3 years from now?
- Let’s say you have some important personal work and there is a deadline approaching for a project. How will you manage the situation? (I said, I’ll give work to my colleague). Let’s say that your client depends only on you (hence, you can’t assign work to a colleague). Then how will you manage?
- Describe one tough situation or a difficult problem, and how you handled it?
- If in December, the office becomes offline, would you like to come to our office or work from home?
