  2. Swiggy recruiter contacted me after getting resume from a thrid party and within a week first telephone screening round got scheduled.

  • All rounds were 1 hour each.

  1. Telephoic screening round

    Detailed Intro - 5 mins

     Most challenging project ever worked on and follow up questions on it.

    I was not very sure after this round but I got shortlisted for next 5 rounds.
    Once you clear screening, they will schedule 5 rounds and after all rounds are done then they will collectively provide you feedback and result.

    It took a month for me to complete all rounds.

  2. Round 1 - Coding + CSF

    Few generic deployment related questions and about my experience and kafka related questions.

     a. After releasing an story if a particular api latency increased then what will you do?
 b. How to insure ordering in multiple partitions in Kafka?
 c. functional test case related question. (can't recall)

 Q1. Longest subsequence of consecutive integers.

 Q2. Can't recall the exact problem but it was a medium LC problem based on linked list.

  3. Round 2 - PS + DS

    Intro - 5 mins

     Q. Implement a json parser to convert a valid json string to json object like Jackson in java. Eg. String - "{{"userId": 1}, {"name": abc}}".

    Last 5 mins, few questions about swiggy on-call culture.

  4. Round 3 - LLD

    Intro - 5 mins

     Q. Can't recall the problem, but it was related to swiggy serviceability.

  5. Round 4 - HLD

    Intro - 3 mins

     Q. Notification system for swiggy to send offers notification.

  6. Round 5 - HM

    Intro - 5 mins

     Q. Behavioral questions on leadership(since I was interviewing for SDE3) and past projects.
