After that he gave a problem to solve related to string manipulation on codility platform. Interviewer focused on my thinking approach and he was quite supportive in the interview, I implemented my approach after discussion and gave the time and space complexities, he told me to optimise further, With some hints I was able to solve it optimally, he was satisfied with my approach. \nLater he asked if I had any questions regarding the team and microsoft.\n\n\n\n\nRound 2- HLD round with a senior architect with greater then 20 years of experience,1 Hour\nThis round was really the best round with a lot meaningful discussions and detailings, we discussed various tradeoffs in the design decisions. I never expected the interviewer will be this much supportive given his experience.\n\n\n\nAfter the second round, the HR informed that since both rounds went well, we will have just one more round, that was basically AA round.\n\n\nRound 3- AA round, HLD + Past projects + Behavorial by senior manager with greater then 20 years of experience, 1 Hour\nThis was taken by a manager, he gave introduction of the team I was interviewing for, later he gave a HLD problem to design, so we discussed the desiging the system for around 20-30 minutes after that he asked if had any questions for him and answered my queries.\n\n\nOverall I enjoyed interviewing at microsoft, the interviewers were quite supportive and open ended to discussions.\n\nWaiting for results.
