I interviewed with Google in April 2022. \n\n**YoE:** 3 years\n\nThe process included 1 recruiter screening round, 1 technical telephonic screening round, 4 onsite technical rounds, and 1 Googlyness & Leadership (GNL) round.\n\nBelow are the details about the rounds:\n\n**Recruiter Screening**\nOnce my profile was shortlisted, the recruiter reached out to me with this opportunity. The recruiter asked a couple of theoretical DSA questions based on the time complexities of commonly used algorithms, the best algorithms to solve specific use cases, etc. \n\n**Telephonic Screening Round**\nThis was a 45 min Google meet interview. I was given a math-based medium-level coding question to solve. I was expected to identify and clarify all the ambiguities in the question and solve the problem step by step while discussing my thoughts with the interviewer. \n\n**4 Onsite Technical Rounds**\nAll the 4 rounds were 45 min coding rounds.\n\nIn 2 of the rounds, the question had 3 parts. Initially, a medium-level problem was given. Just like the Telephonic screening round, I was expected to first clarify all the ambiguities in the question and discuss my thoughts with the interviewer. Based on my solution and the remaining time, the interviewers discussed the other 2 parts of the question in a similar way.\n\nIn the other 2 rounds, the interviewers shared a hard question. The questions were well defined and the interviewers were very helpful and collaborated with me to solve the problem most optimally.\n\n**Googlyness & Leadership (GNL) Round**\nThis was a behavioral and leadership round where the interviewer provided me with a couple of situations and wanted to know how did I handle those situations in my experience.\n\nAfter all the onsite interviews, my profile was shared with the Hiring Manager for team matching. One discussion was scheduled with the Hiring Manager to discuss the role and to check the team fitment. \n\nPost this discussion, my profile was shared with the Hiring Committee for approval. \n\n*The biggest advice I\'d give is instead of solving 500 questions,* ***solve 150-200 quality questions*** *so that your basics are clear.* ***Think out loud,*** *and share your thinking process with the interviewers, they will surely help you!*
