I am writing this experience because I want to know if anybody else has experienced this?

So my interview was scheduled at 2.15 PM and I was mailed a zoom link from HR. She even called me to confirm that I am attending or no to which I confirmed Yes.

I entered the zoom call 10 minutes earlier to be sure. I was kicked out and then I received another mail from HR that the person who is going to interview me has bailed and another person will take my interview. Got another zoom call link.

Joined that one too 5 minutes before and immediately I was kicked out of it. Then I received another call from HR stating that the interviewer wants to take a lunch break and asked if its fine by me. I was like sure, why not. I will wait a few minutes. Then after half an hour of waiting for her mail or call, she mailed me are you going to join or no?

I immediately joined the zoom call and another person joined as well in few seconds. I started introducing myself and after a few minutes, this guy started introducing himself from another company. I realized that he is also interviewing for the same role. I clarified with him immediately and left the call.

I mailed the HR and even called her. By this, its already 3 PM. No Response from their side.

I guess I have been ghosted. Is this a normal thing to happen? Did I do something wrong?
