First DSA round (1 hour):

Database Design round (1 hour):

  • Questions about the current projects
  • Database design quesions and some queries to write

Technical Round -3

  • Design a retry module that would take any function and retry it based on the retry configs

Founder's Round

  • Asked questions on what do you know about the company and it's products and some other irrelevant questions like what do you do in your free time, how well do you take feedbacks, like seriously if I am in an interview why would I ever say no I don't take feedback nicely.

Result: Selected

I got selected, they rolled me out the offer letter, made me reduce my notice period by 1 month and then 2 days later revoked the offer letter giving some bullshit reasons like there was an internal call and then we decided to go for this.

Even after the founder's round my recruiter told me that the HR and other's are internally deciding whether or not to hire you because they don't think you know much about the company's domain. I replied that this should not be the reason to not hire someone and moreover once I join and get the relevant KT's I will understand and that's how most of the company's operate. Anyways I read about the domain and the product the company is working upon and in the salary discussion the HR asked me about it before moving forward and then when she was convined she negotiated the numbers.

After all this they rolled me out the offer letter, I accepted it and then 3-4 days later the HR calls me up and says that we got an immediate joiner so we have closed the position as of now.

I would suggest anyone reading this post to be very cautious while interviewing for this company. You can use their offer to negotiate with some other company but be very careful while joining the company.

(Just so that you don't get a wrong idea about some other company with the same name)
