A recruiter contacted me through email and I responded back. We scheduled an introduction call in the second week of April.

Intro call (30mins):
It was just about mutual introductions, overview of company and role, my tech background, salary expectations, reasons to relocate.

Recruiter looked very friendly. Though nothing went wrong in the intro call, I never heard back from him even after multiple follow ups. I have had pretty good experience with all the companies that I interviewed for European locations. They always came back with the feedback or updates. This was the first ghosting experience from an European company. It was a waste of time researching about this company and role before the interview, and the time spent during interview.

Update (May 13) : Finally recruiter updated that there is a hiring freeze. I am not sure if its just for this role or entire company.
