Interview Process:
1 Online Assessment followed by 4 Onsite Rounds
Round 1: Online Assessment (1.5 Hours)
OA round was organised on Hackerearth platform. 3 Questions were asked.
- Array Based (Easy): Was able to pass all test cases
- Maths Based (Medium): Was able to pass all test cases
- Segment Tree (Hard): Not all test cases were passed. Was able to solve partially.
Got call from recruiter that I was able to clear OA & onsite were scheduled upcoming weeks.
Onsite Round 1: DSA (1 Hour)
Two leetcode medium questions were asked. Both questions were array based. There were a lot of edge cases in both the questions. I was able to solve both questions in 40 minutes. Interviewer was satisfied with the performance.
Onsite Round 2: Low Level Design (1 Hour)
Was asked to design Circuit Breaker Pattern. I was able to come up with all the components & classes which will be required. Was able to code-up the solution within time.
Onsite Round 3: Design Round (1 Hour)
Was asked to design feed system for social media application like Facebook. I was able to give low and high level design. Focus of discussion was on the way we will store data in database and to optimally read/write into it.
Onsite Round 4: Bar Raiser (1 Hour)
We started with introducing ourselves. In this round all the aspects of the career were discussed. He asked questions about my current project. Then moved on to best practises of low level design. Was asked to describe all the SOLID Principles, followed by explaining a few Design Patterns and their use cases.
Then a few questions on cloud computing, databases & computer networks were asked.
I was able to answer all the answer. Interviewer looked happy.
Got a call within 2 days that I was selected.
Overall Experience: My recruiter was very helpful & flexible. I even re-scheduled one round twice. Also interviewers were very helpful & kept a good environment throughout the rounds.
