The interview process and format of each interview:

Technical/General zoom call (30 minutes) For two interviews:
I would break this into 2 categories:

  • Personal Behavioral /Gernal interview Questions
  • Science/Engineering Technical Questions

These questions were mixed together in a rapid pace. The personal questions were classic interview questions like tell me about your self or why do you want to work at Tesla, what type of work would you be looking forward to doing at Tesla. Describe your past work expierence what did you do at this company and then getting into hypothetical techincal questions to see what type of knowledge I had in certain fields.

The Science/Engineering questions were all over the place. The questions went from thermal dynamics and types of heat transfer, to static mechanics and newtonian physics questions, to simple electrical components and timed circuits. These were all mixed into the personal questions and tested the applicants ability to jump from one thing to the next.

My general thoughts on these interviews were they can be very stressful but were also and really fun chanllenge and incredibly different to every past interview I ever had!
