Applied via referral. Recruiter scheduled initial call. We talked about past experience, openings in meta. He then scheduled phone screen on the date of my convenience. I took 3 weeks from the initial call.

Easy - https://leetcode.com/problems/valid-anagram/ - Instead of second string, it was string of arrays. Return true if array has anagram of the given string.
Hard - https://leetcode.com/problems/making-a-large-island/
First one, completed quickly, dry ran and gave time complexity analysis.
Second one, came up with the best approach, coded the entire solution at the last minute of the entire 45 mins interview. So could not handle one of the edge case. Later found out the code has another minor bug too(an ! condition :().

Anyway, overall it was good experience. Interviewer was friendly and gave good hints.

Feedback: Positive, moving to onsite. [took 2 days]

Onsite:

Round 1 (Coding):
Q1: Arrays based - Gave optimal solution - missed 1 corner case, fixed after interviewer hint

Q2: Binary Tree based - Gave optimal solution - used Map where List is good enough. Corrected after interviewer hint.

Round 2(Coding):
Q1: Arrays based - Gave O(n) solution where Binary Search solution is possible. Tried for binary approach, almost reached a solution. Due to time constraint moved to next question.

Q2: Tree based - Gave optimal solution. Perfect one when compared to others.

Round 3(Product Design):
Frequently asked design problem. Felt, i did good overall. Interviewer asked 2 major questions. Think i explained correctly and clearly.

**Round 4(Behavioural): **
Standard questions.
