Which company to join Amazon or Apna ? I am inclined towards a startup. Can somebody guide?

1. Amazon :
   OA assessment (two questions LC medium )
   R1: Two LC Medium and two leadership
   R2: Two LC Medium and two leadership
   R3: Two LC Hard (Bar raiser, I didn't answer the leadership question correctly, so he asked two hard questions, one was a new problem)
   Verdict: Selected

2. Apna :
   R1: Two DS questions both LC hard (both new problems, 1 TREE Based and 1 DP)
   R2 : LLD design, API's design, DB design, system design (Had a fantastic conversation with the manager)
   Apna has good work culture.
   Verdict: Selected

3. Dunzo :
   R1: Two DS questions 1 LC medium, 1 LC hard
   R2: Two DS questions 1 LC medium-Hard graph, 1 LC hard (Strings + Graph not a standard problem)
   R3: EM round
   Verdict: Selected

4. nurture.farm :
   OA : 1 LC Easy-medium, 1 LC medium DP, 1 LC DP medium-hard (it was a variation of LC medium that made the question difficult)
   R1: Two DS questions 1 LC medium stack based, 1 LC graph medium
   R2: LLD round + Projects discussion
   R3: EM round previous work + 1 DS question unusual question, divide and conquer based + 1 system design question based on referral system
   R4 : HR round
   I found interviewers very humble and down to earth. There are some interviewes in which the interview becomes a learning experience, this is what happened with me in R3.

   R1 : DSA LC Hard problem graph based and projects discussion
   R2: 2 DSA questions (1 LC medium + tricky and 1 LC medium) both non standard problems
   R3: General discussion
   After my last round, next day recruiter told me that they have stopped SDE1 hiring. They will contact later. This also happens with people. [-_-]

6. DailyHunt:
   R1 : mutliple dsa problems + SQL + db design
   R2 : I didn't schedule the further round (Look at the bottom why)

7. Grab :
   OA : 1 LC easy, 1 LC medium DP, 1 LD medium graph.
   R1 : 2 DSA questions 1 LC medium strings, 1 LC medium backtracking
   Didn't schedule further rounds, as I got a few offers, so didn't want to waste their time.

   OA : 1 LC easy, 1 LC medium DP, 1 LC hard DP + Graph
   R1 : 1 LC Dp hard + 1 LC medium

   I was not able to solve the DP problem. IMO, asking DP hard in a 50 min interview doesn't make sense. If you really want to ask a hard dp problem, so help the candidate also while solving. The interviewer didn't help and wan't interested in my approach. (that's usually happens when company scales at a fast pace and they don't have the time to train people on how to take interviews)
   I feel, interviewer should come with a mindset that how can I hire him/her ? not with How can i reject him/her?

Found second interviewer rude, got selection mail on 25 feb, haven't received the offer yet. Not a company one should join.

Advice:

• Learn negotiation.
• Since, last year software developers are getting a very high salary because of the unavailability of quality engineers. I don't know why 12 lakh or 15 lakh is not a good salary for 1 year experienced developer. It is a good salary, comparison never helps you in becoming a better version of yourself.
• Choosing a company with a better learning oppotunity is a smart choice.
• Ignore diversity hiring things, it is like reservation. You can't control it, so avoid wasting time in thinking about it. It won't help you in upskilling yourself.
• Don't assume everything is true that you see on linkedin (A lot of people post cringe, repeated and meaningless content to gain followers)
  In my previous company, I didn't get work, so that's why I was having hard time in answering previous company's work in the managerial rounds. The best way you can avoid these kind of conversation is by being honest.
  Arranging an interview call from a good product based company is a skill, if you are from a service-based and tier 3 college.
  In my point of view, Interviews are luck based. You can't control the luck, but you can increase the surface area of the luck by upskilling yourself and by having mutliple targets.
