Interview-1

Interviewer was a SDE-2 with 1.5 years of exp in Amazon.
Solved 2/2.Optimised 2/2.
1)Validate BST
A lot of follow up questions were asked on this problem,but I handled them well. Idk what on earth she wanted to mean by "clean code". She was adamant on merging some if else statement as if there was some magic happening. I get it,you want me to merge but behen karne to do. Patience!
2)Rod cutting problem
My rating of the interview:- 7.5/10

Interview 2:-
SDE-2 with 3 years of ex. in Amazon.

1)Trapping Rain Water
2)Super Egg Drop Not the same problem,but it was based on this.

solved 2/2.Optimised 2/2.
Interviewer was really helpful in this one.
My rating:9/10. This went really well.

Interview 3 (hiring manager)
SDM took this one.

Why amazon?answered.
Describe a project where the customer was surprised by your work.
Now,me being a SDE-1(you have my resume),having 6 months of experience,how on earth I would woo a customer?I dont have any client interaction,I am just told to do this that by my manager.Thats it. I tried to tell him some examples that I had prepared with STAR method,but he was like,no this is ownership and not proper customer experience. Now i tried to explain by picking up a project from my college days(That was a direct customer interaction based,where I asked some people to try my prototype and rate it). He was again giving me a straight no. After 40 mins of straight nos,He changed the topic.

Asked some java concepts and follow up questions and I answered them. Answered all of them but fumbled on one of them. My bad.

I knew there would be a straight reject and here it is.Thinking of building fake stories for Mangerial rounds in any upcoming interviews(your thoughts?).
