This interview was for Computer Scientist -1 role in Adobe Illustrator team. There were a total of 5 rounds for me including one Hiring Manager and Director
Round-1:
Q1. Singly linked list is given. Detect loop
Q2. Detect Palindrome string in LL
Q3. Implement Singleton
Q4. Design Chess game - Basic LLD including classes was expected and not the actual code as such
Round - 2 (Design): This round went very poorly for me and I could not give out a satisafactory answer. Due to this round, I was asked to attend one more technical round before proceeding with HM round.
Q. Design garbage collector for C/C++
Round 3:
Q1. Implement the singleton pattern with a twist. First, instead of storing one instance, store two instances. And in every even call of getInstance(), return the first instance and in every odd call of getInstance(), return the second instance.
Q2. Virtual table and vptr, operator overloading
Q3. You have linked list with a random pointer. Clone this list.
Round - 4: HM round
Mostly asked questions related to current role and projects. Also involved behavioural questions. After that, he asked some coding questions as well:
Q1. Write the code for memcpy - This needed to be optimized keeping CPU architecture in mind to make it faster.
Q2. Reverse the linked list using recursion.
Q3. Inorder traversal of a binary tree without using recursion.
R5: Director round
Mostly involved behavioural questions around my motivation to switch jobs, etc.
Received the call next day that I have been selected and they are moving ahead with the offer. Whole process took couple weeks time.

This team in particular are heavy on C++ and expect candidates to know in depth of the language. The interview questions were fairly easy.
