I recently completed with amazon interviews.
Recruiter contacted me directly on LinkedIn and shortlisted by profile for SDE2.

OA: There were two questions (Don't remember the exact questions):
first, some array ratings related.
second, Array of binary digits and sort 0 and 1's in an array with minimum no. of swaps.
Could not pass all the test cases for both the questions. However, I was amazed I had cleared this round.
Recruiter contacted me after 2 days to schedule next round. I didn't not get any time to prepare and next Telephonice round was scheduled after two days.

Telephonic Round: It had 1 coding question, interviewer told me in advance that he will ask me just one coding question.

Question: Find next greater element. eg. Input 123 - output - 132
I discussed my approach with him and was able to code it in 60 min.

With 30min, I got the feedback from recruiter that I have cleared this round and now onsite round will be there virtually.

After 3 days I got call from one of the recruiter to schedule the next 3 Onsite rounds.
Between Telephonic round and Onsite round I had 2 weeks to prepare.

First Onsite Round: It was LLD round (it was not informed to me that it would be LLD design round), I messed up in this round as I had never given any LLD rounds earliar so I had no idea how I should answer such question neither I prepared for it. DURATION 60min

It was like Design a Hotel Booking system.

Second Onsite Round It was DSA round. Two coding questions were asked.
First was related to Arrays using stack - Nailed it.
Second was Related to Trees, After hint given by interviewer was able to do it as well. DURATION 60min

Third Onsite Round It was HLD round with Hiring manager. I was asked behavioural questions for first 15-20 min and we had a discussion on Payment gateway for Amazon music. - Went well

I had my all onsite rounds on Monday and I heard back from recruiter next tuesday evening (Around 10 days later). I got a call that I have cleared Onsite rounds, now there would be last onsite round on friday and that would be again coding round.

Fourth/Last Onsite Round First behavioural questions were asked, then one coding question was asked, completed it in 10-15min and dry run it as well.
Return the count of maximum sequence which can be form in an array.
input: [12, 3, 4, 100, 8, 10, 200, 250, 9, 13, 11]
Ouput: 5 i.e., [8, 9, 10, 11, 12]

Now, interviewer asked me one more coding question which I could not answer. It must be done via DP. WAP To display a string in zigzag manner top to down then diagonal bottom to up.
[I feel this is the question due to which I got rejected]
Interviewer didn't gave any hint. He kept on saying think what can be done.

** Note: I had this last round interview on Friday, and it's been more than [Edited] 2 weeks and I didn't hear back from anyone.
The person I was in touch told me that I could not clear the last round when I called her up.

I find it really unprofessional from amazon recruiters end. Atleast, they should inform the candidates if the decision has been made.

** Focus on medium level questions. I prepared via leetcode and sde sheets of some of the youtubers. Also, I handson competitive programming after my college [YOE: 6.5yrs] It was fun and now I'll be in touch and hope will be able to crack some FAANG companies soon.
