Hi guys,\n\nI have just finished phone screen round with AWS Europe region. Although I got rejection but trying to giving back to community since I learnt a lot from experience shared by the others.\n\n**1. My Experience**\nYOE : 9 years in big tech company specialized in mobile manufacture and communication.\n\n**2. Online Assessment**\nWas reached out by recruited via LinkedIn asking if I am interested in joining AWS Europe team.\nI say YES, then got email for OA after few days, finish the OA by end of Dec, 2021\n\nOA contains two coding questions, leadership principle and work simulation\n\n**Coding part**\n* 1st question is quite simple : I can solve using two-pointer technique and pass all test cases. Question looks like this : https://leetcode.com/discuss/interview-question/1655441/Amazon-or-OA\nhttps://leetcode.com/problems/maximum-length-of-subarray-with-positive-product/\n\n* 2nd question is leetcode medium : https://leetcode.com/problems/valid-parentheses/\nNot able to pass all test cases\n\n**LP and Work simulation**\nLP : Got quite a lot of LP questions : https://www.amazon.jobs/en/principles\nWork simulation : Got the work simulation like email back and forth in real working enviroment\n\n**Result : Clear OA and advanced to phone screen round**\n\n**3. Phone Screen**\nGot feedback about OA after 2 days, and phone screen round was scheduled after 3 weeks.\nThe Inteviewer was really nice and supportive. The interview tooks around 1 hour.\n\n**30 mins : Coding**\nCoding question looks similar this : https://leetcode.com/problems/analyze-user-website-visit-pattern/\nSince I have never solved this problme before so it takes few minutes to read and understand the question and requirement.\n\nAble to code using HashMap DS and answer follow-up question from interviewer.\nHe seems to be satisfied and it takes exactly 30mins then move to LP part.\n\n**30 mins : Leadership Principle**\nLP questions mainly forcus on : Hire and Develop the Best\nhttps://www.amazon.jobs/en/principles\n\nGave satifised anwer to interviewer since I have quite a lot of experience and real story to tell regarding this topic.\n\n***Final verdict : Reject***\nGot rejection email from recruiter after 2 days and she tell that AMZ can\'t tell the  reason or provide additional feedback on this decision! A  bit  panic  after got result from recruiter but I think they might found better candidates so  it should be fine !\n\n
