Online round (1.5 hours):

• This is very easy to find here 2 tasks, one easy and second is for DP

Technical phone screen (1 hour):

• Behavioral questions
• Algorithm question (easy)

Onsite (4 hours):
1 round: Design maintainable code solution for shoping cart total price with one followup. Several LP.
2 round: Design monitoring system like Prometeus, we decided to talk our solution. Focus was on different tradeoffs. Several LP.
3 round: Solve algorithm medium question with DFS. Several LP.
4 round: A lot of LP. Solve intervals easy question.

Result:
To the first online round i did not prepared at all, because did not thought about joining Amazon. After they said i passed online round i had 2 weeks for leetcoding to refresh my uni knowledge. Phone screening interviewer was extremelly nice and welcoming, i solved the task, but while describing solution i said some stupid staff (like while DFS search queue will have constant space complexity). So they said i pass it and i had 3 weeks before onsite rounds. There again started a lot of leetcoding. Onsite was extremelly exhausting. Interviewsers were all very nice and welcoming. They help if stuck. Hardest was last interview, it was a manager and he asked me a lot of LP questions, all my prepared examples was not enough for this one and i started to remember some others (sometimes bad).

How i prepared:
My current and all previous jobs did not have anything about what i leared in Uni. I brought leetcode premium to get access to amazon specific questions. I very recommend doing the same. I solved 'Top questions from Amazon Interview' and on the list of questions for amazon i sorted them by frequency and started from top. In total i did 2 separate sessions each contained ~250 problems. I did 2 because i wanted to check which problems i forgot solutions. It is important to make quality and not quantitity. I watched some youtube videos about system design (i can recommend to watch the same problem from different authors as all of them are missing something). Also basically google 'Amazon Interview Questions' for examples of behaviour questions, they are 40-60% of success depending interviewer. For each question i found i tried to write at least 2-3 stories from my past (at the end i found this was not enough). It is fine to say interviewer you do not have answer for this specific question, as not everyone get all possible situations. They have a lot of questions prepared before.
