Hey ALL,

Recently (last week) the recruiter reached out with an email that they liked my LinkedIn profile and as I am looking for a switch, so they scheduled me up for the first round (took over a Zoom Call for ~65-68 mins).

Round -1 Details

Let me say this upfront, The interviewer was super super friendly, it's rare to get such interviewer's actually. I was tested on the following things,

  • In Depth Explanation of my the projects mentioned on my resume.
    • Explain your role, what was your contribution, what was the overall design, impact, goal of the project, the tech stack used and why was this selected and not something else
  • Then I was asked to explain the general ML Life Cycle end to end. Interviewer was happy that i didn't forgot to mention monitoring and logging everything that's happening in your ML system.
  • I was also asked about doing deployments, how do you do it, are you confrtable or ready to learn AWS (I use GCP at my work place currently, hence the question)
  • I was asked some question around big data stack, explain me Spark's Arch (I mentioned that I had recently started using PySpark at my work), what are the different ways one can deploy spark clusters etc etc
  • And then i was asked to explain my favourite algorithm end to end. (I went with linear regression nad then touched on the NN's as i am more used to the latter)
  • And finally a question was asked as to how will you design the search bar for a website like stackoverflow with the primary focus being on the dB schema and components used etc. (Just from a high elvel point, what all components do you think you will need or use to build a good solution)

After the interview day, I had recieved a Craft Interview Demo Round and post that there are 4 interviews scheduled back to back as well in the next week, all in a day with interview lasting around 6 hours in total.

2 Technical Rounds + 1 HM Round + 1 Craft Demo Round

So, I am seeking help for information as to what to expect on the technical rounds wrt MLE's interviews at Intuit. It will be of great help if you can help me with your past experince or you had gone through the process as well..
