Got an interview call from Vimeo? Don't get too excited, here's why

I got a call few weeks back from a Vimeo recruiter for a Bangalore-based opportunity as Senior Software Engineer.
After recruiter screening, they scheduled my first round of interview.

The interviewer asked about current project, some behavioural questions and then directly jumped to coding question. That was a simple array-based question and I was able to solve it optimally. He then asked about URL shortener system design. That was a saturated question and I was able to come up with the design quite easily.

One day passed and no response. So, I emailed the recruiter and he called me immediately to schedule next set of interviews. He said that I cleared the first round and scheduled two rounds of interviews with barraiser.com (third party). Because employees were on leave on holidays.

Second round was DSA based followed by asking some questions on the project. I missed one edge case, but was very close to the solution and Interviewer convinced with the approach. This round went very well except for that missing edge case.

Third round was purely on HLD+LLD (Sorry, I don’t remember the question)
Surprisingly this round went really good compared to the previous one. He was very pleased with my high level design, table schema and API designs.

Again, I had to wait for more than 10 days so the recruiter is back at work after holidays. Waited for 2 more days and no response on emails too. So, I called him and then he immediately checked my candidate records. He told me that I passed both the rounds and scheduled 4th round (hiring manager round) with a Director level employee.

As expected, 4th round was mainly focused on cultural fit + LLD on bicycle creation for an app. He mentioned that he wanted a "very sophisticated design". He asked a lot of questions and I could come up with a LLD that satisfies some of the design patterns adhering the basic requirements that he mentioned. I have asked him some questions on the company culture and that was it. He told that the feedback will be communicated by today or tomorrow. And after all, they just ghosted me without communicating the feedback. No responses on email. Called them multiple times, but I keep hearing "we will let you know". I then stumbled upon company reviews on web w.r.t interview experience and found that they have ghosted good number of people.

Just imagine, you call someone to come to your home. Then you just go inside home and never come back outside. How does it feel for the person who wait outside? When are they going to learn professional etiquette ?
I'm not sure how they work in the US. But India folks, please be aware on this. Accept Vimeo interview calls only if you dont have other offers in hand or if you have enough time to waste!!
