Status : 1.5yrs of experience as software developer in a MNC

I got contacted by recruiter directly.
Round 1 : Machine coding (medium difficulty)
A limited time deal implies that a seller will put up an item on sale for a limited
time period, say, 2 hours and will keep a maximum limit on the number of items
that would be sold as part of that deal.
-- Users cannot buy the deal if the deal time is over
-- Users cannot buy if the maximum allowed deal has already been boughtby other users.
-- One user cannot buy more than one item as part of the deal.
Task is to create APIs to enable following operations:-
-- Create a deal with price and number of items to be sold as part of the deal
-- End a deal
-- Update a deal to increase the number of items or end time
-- Claim a deal
Note:-
-- Just 2 hrs to create a working demonstrable application.
-- UI is not required.
-- UML diagrams are not required
-- API is expected
-- Database connectivity is expected
Experience:-
I was not prepared for Database connectivity as usually its not expected in machine coding interviews.
Luckily I had knowledge of spring framework so I could build an API otherwise this is also not expected in in machine coding interviews.
They should have sent detailed information about expectations as this format is pretty new in interviews.
So I spent first 10min for clearifying requirements and discussing the approach, 1hr 35min for coding and last 15min for demonstration.
Implemented 3/4 apis. Didn't use any actual database(just explained database schema).
I felt time should have been 3hrs and database, api, framework should not be expected, as candidates spend too much time on these instead of actual design and logic of the appication.
Anyway I cleared this round!
Round 2 : Past work discussion (easy)
This was kinda HM+tech round. It was general discussion about the work I have done in my current company.
Started with intro then about projects in my current company, my role in those projects,
Challenges faced in past 1.5yrs,Tech used etc.
Round 3 : Offer discussion
Nothing much. Just stated the offer. I tried negotiating and failed (:<)
