Current Compensation: 11 LPA (9.5 Fixed + 1.5 variable)
It was an good experience interviewing at Arcesium. There were total of 5 rounds (difficulty level - moderate).

Round 1: Online Assesment
1. Product of maximum of all subsets of an array
2. The troop of Cats: Cat needs to cross the tunnel as fast as possible. A cat can cross the tunnel on its own and can cross by carrying other cats on her back. Given time to cross the tunnel individually and with the cat on her back. Find the minimum time to cross all cats from the tunnel.
3. Stream Distribution: A network is given in the form of a perfect binary tree and computations can occur at leaf nodes, while other nodes(distribution nodes) distribute data streams to the leaves. Two types of distributions are there – Splitting and Parallel.

Round 2: DS/Algo Round
I got 10 mins late for this interview but interviewers were nice. There were 2 Interviewers in this round. They began by introducing themselves and then inquired about me. They then moved on to the interview questions:
1. Check if the given Binary is Valid BST or not.
They had given just only 1 question and asked to discuss my approach first and then later code.
After this they deep dive into my project and had some good discussion related to the project architecture and my role in the team and my contributions in the project.

Round 3: Design Round
Again in this round 2 interviewers were there. One was having 3 yrs of experience and other was at team lead position. They started with a coding question
1. find longest valid parentheses
After this, i had been given a design ques.
1. LRU Cache
I was asked about the approach for the cache and later code it. it was a LLD problem.

Round 4: Hiring Manager
There were 2 interviewers in this round as well. One was hiring manager and other one was team lead. In this round, i have been asked some questions related to project and some language based questions (mostly Java). later, again i had been asked one coding problem.
1. Koko Eating bananas
This was a bit confusing problem, i have almost approached the solution. just could not able to find the velocity in const time.

After Clearing all the technical round, there was a de-brief meeting happened, as to whether proceed to with candidature or not based on feedback from all the interviewers till now who has taken up the rounds. I got a positive feedback overall.

(In my hiring manager round, i messed a little bit in language questions) but as overall feedback was positive. I was supposed to go through a HR round.

Round 5: HR Round
This round will have some behaviarol questions but it will mostly be a compensation discussion round. Here your expectations will be asked and based accordingly how your interviews goes, you will be given offer. I had a good discussion with HR and i was told that this much of offer can be released (it was not a confirmation by HR but just an idea) and asked me to wait 3-4 days as he needs to get this approved by the Compensation director.

But after 4 days, i got a mail that i am not selected as they could not find a good match of my skills with positions available. I think, I have asked for much CTC of what they can offer.

Expected Compensation : ~42 LPA (22 Fixed + 3-4 variable + 16 LPA LTA)
Competing Offer: 21 LPA (20 Fixed + 1 joining bonus)
Compensation by HR : ~32 (20-21 Fixed + 2-3 Variable + 8 LTA)

Also, I had provided one competing offer to negotiate in HR round and i had come to this expected compensation by going through leetcode compensations and some friends CTCs.

Note: Arcesium Lowball everyone, so you need to be much clever to fetch offer from them.
