Round-1 : Phone Screen

1 leetcode medium problem - I took entire 40-45 mins to solve it and code it along with explanation and comments. Got a call from recruiter for the next virtual-onsite interviews.

Round-2 : Googley round where the HR asked 4-5 behavioral questions for about 30mins.

Round-3 : Technical round with a graph problem related to printing the ancestors. Almost solved and finished coding but time up and the interviewer told I almost got it and the algo was correct.

Round-4 : 1 leetcode medium problem and 2 followups. Solved all 3 and coded.

Round-5 : 1 leetcode medium problem and 3 followups. Solved all 4 and coded.

Round-6 : 1 leetcode medium problem and 2 followups. Solved 2 and almost finished the last one. The questions was super vague and the interviewer didn't seem to know the problem or help out with more clarity. He was happy that I got through the problem and solved the followup under 20-25 mins.

Today recruiter scheduled a video call on google meeting and I was super excited because all 4 rounds went very well except 1 round. She told to my surprise that I was rejected. I feel very sad and it was my best interview of my life. Never expected google to reject just because of 1 round. It was mostly because I was on my 90 day OPT unemployment period deadline and unnecessarily I pushed them to give out the result.
