How I got the interview:
I was contacted by the recruiter through LinkedIn to apply for the SWE Internship in NYC. I applied on 9/23. Received a Phone Interview invitation on 10/6.
The day of:
Interview duration: 45 minutes
I was called by the interviewer on my cell phone and had received the Hackerrank Link when I scheduled the interview. The interview started with me introducing myself. They further asked me some follow up questions about my projects and past work experience.
After this, they asked me this question: https://leetcode.com/discuss/interview-question/380650/Bloomberg-or-Phone-Screen-or-Candy-Crush-1D/343992. The interviewer was extremely helpful and kept giving hints as I went about coding the solution.
In the last five minutes, they asked me if I had any questions for them.
