Position: Senior Software Engineer at mid sized US based company
Location: Bengaluru, India

Online Techincal test (1.5 hour):

• perform some union operations on two arrays and then find operation to get size of groups formed
• number of characters to change to make 2 strings anagram of each other
• meeting scheduling problem where arrival array and duration array is given find total presentations which can be given.
• Aggregation related query on 3 tables.

1st technical zoom screen (1 hour):

• candy crush problem - aabbbca -->aaca,aabbbac--->c , crush three letters together .
• From a 2d matrix box u can either go left , right , up ,down , find if u can reach a box in constant space

3rd technical zoom screen (1 hour):

• LLD design for Jira tracking system.

4th technical zoom screen (1 hour):

• Project architecture discussion
• Difference between postgres and mysql
• what is a commit log ,what is mvcc , explain the db design for current project

Result: Offer

My Evaluation : Process was smooth , guys who took the interview also seemed competent with their knowledge ,I guess i got extra points in LLD round for doing it in golang as was interviewing for a golang role.

P.S - I had over 30 interviews with as many rejections and some offers at last. Will keep on posting the detailed interview experience .
