\nStatus: ~7YoE, Tier-1 College India\nPosition: SDE2 at Amazon\nLocation: Europe | UK\nDate: Oct\'21\n\n**Online Assessment:**\n ~ 50 Behavioral questions (MCQ style)\n Algorithm question:\n Two coding questions\nDecode a string which was encoded using zigzag encoding\nDon\'t remember this question but was an LC Medium\n\n**2nd technical phone screen (1 hours): \n**\nStarted with behavioral questions and then a variation of two sum problem and a discussion on time and space complexities for quicksort & mergesort\n\n**Onsite (4 rounds):** \nAll rounds began with 20 minutes of leadership principles questions.\n\n**First Round**: Tiny URL (Choice of DB, Postgres Transaction ids, Hash Indexing, and overall architecture)\n**Second Round:**  Variation of Jump Problem (1 and 2 on LC)\n**Third Round**: OOD round, I personally felt this was more focussed on the choice of Data Structures and clean coding. The problem was to design an adoption shelter for animals.\n**Fourth Round:** : Finding the K longest standing product in a log of product id and timestamps. It was a variation of k most frequent elements (or atleast that is how I solved it)\n\nResult: \n\nReceived a verbal confirmation for the offer :) \nI have to now pick a location and the team. I\'m confused between Amsterdam (Amazon Fintech) and Berlin (Ratings & Reviews). Any pointers will be of great help! \nI am not considering London cuz I\'ve heard that Amazon doesn\'t pay that well in London.
