Round 0: Online Aptitude Round

Online Aptitude Round was conducted on their online platform. It was MCQ based test. Covering aptitude topics, CS Core Subjects, DSA, etc.

27 students got shortlisted for the next round.

Round 1: Techincal Interview (Easy)
This round was conducted on the zoom platform in the morning. The interviewer was very friendly and he started with a fairly easy question. He just wanted me to write a program and reverse my name. I coded the solution in no time.
Problem He tried to add complexity to the problem. Now my name has some repeated characters. Print all the characters present in my name once even if it has occurred more than once. Also, print those characters which are repeating with their counts. Well, this was also simple, I used a set and frequency array.
Problem Egg dropping puzzle - There are 2 eggs and 100 floors in buildings, minimise the number of trials required to find the first floor from where the egg will start breaking if it is dropped from there. Again, it is a simple puzzle, I had seen this puzzle before.

Round 2 Technical Interview (Basic)
The interviewer was 20 years experienced man. I introduced myself and later answered many questions based on my resume. He was impressed with my projects.
Problem There are some numbers given in an array. Write a program to sort the array. Any sorting will work here. I instantly coded the quick sort algorithm on the docs. I also dry run some test cases and then he made it complex by replacing numbers with strings. I just added a comparator function.
Problem There are some floors in a mall. Each floor has some parking lots. What structure can be used here so that at any point we know how many parking lots are there on the kth floor. I just said an array will suffice. Now parking lots can be occupied by some vehicle, then how would you query how many free parking lots are on the kth floor. I modified my data structure and gave him a 2d array.
He was satisfied.

HR round
This round was the best round. HR was so sweet. She asked some typical HR questions like why software engineering, internship experience, why Oracle, day-to-day time management, a time when things are not going right, how did you manage yourself. I answered each question briefly. I nailed this round.
