Yes, you heard right. I got the feedback from the recruiter, my coding round was not good enough and one of the items the interviewer listed was "there are pads between lines".

overall that same interviewer created an awful experience. My algo was correct and tested it walking through code and another feedback was like -did not write unit tests- etc. they did not ask unit tests when I was walking through, who expects unit tests without asking, I tested edge/corner cases and that is it

So watch the padding between lines my friends, apparently there are people watching for it
