I feel i am debted to LC community. So here is my experience with different companies. I cant tell about questions because of NDA

Microsoft:

1. Telephonic(LC Hard) : Question related to matrix
2. Onsite 1 : LC Medium related to hash table and string and lots of behavioural questions
3. Onsite 2 : LC Medium related to binary tree and behavioural questions
4. Onsite 3 : LC Medium related to binary tree and behavioural questions
5. Onsite 4 : LC Medium related to some recursion and behavioural questions

I passed interview but negotiation failed with respect to my salary expectation and wfh expectation.

Amazon

1. OA (LC : 2 medium) : One related to graph and other related to hashtable and array
2. Onsite Interview 1 : System Design and Behavioural : Not a commonly asked System design questions at amazon (afaik)
3. Onsite Interview 2: Data structure and Algorithm : Not on leetcode. Related to hash, queue and follow up question on graph
4. Onsite Interview 3: Problem solving: LC hard. I couldnt complete entire question on time but interviewer was satisfied with my approach
5. Onsite Interview 4 : Object Oriented design : Commonly asked question. I struggled a bit but i was able to answer interviewer's question and i felt interviewer got answers he was looking for.

It was really nice experience and i felt interviewers very professional. Few days later i got email about acceptance.

Apple

1. Telephonic : LC Hard related to recursion
2. Onsite Interview 1 : Question on hash table and priority queue not in LC
3. Onsite interview 2 : Some hard question related to pointers and storing of data in some structure not on LC
4. Onsite interview 3 : Some related to Link list not in LC and lots of oper
5. Onsite interview 4 : Two questions one related to bits operation LC easy and one LC medium on queue
6. Onsite intervew 5 : Some design question
7. Onsite interview 6 :LC medium on string and behavioural questions
8. Onsite intervew 7 : Hiring manager. some question on string and link list and bevioural questions

I got response finally from HR that i cleared interview and in negotiation phase

FB :

1. Onsite interview 1 : 2 LC Medium : one on string and other on binary tree. Nailed it.
2. Onsite interview 2 : 1 LC Hard on dp and 1 lc medium on array. Nailed it
3. System design : Commonly asked one. I nailed it
4. System design : Commonly asked one but interviewer was in bad mood or something and he kept on interrupting to let me know that i was doing really bad and my concepts are not clear at all.
5. Behavioural : Went well

Got rejection. 2nd system design was the reason

1. Phone interview : Easy question on matrix not on LC

i felt i did good but i got rejection

Overall, looking back at the time when i started preparing for interview like almost one and half year back to current time, i feel it was long tedious journey. I remember the day when i just opened LC and i thought how am i going to get through this. One more eye opener was that just because one might be working on grounds breaking technology it doesnt mean they would get interview calls easily or they would pass easily. There is no shortcut to hard work and there would be disappoinment before you get to mode where we can start nailing those interviews. So if you are like me, please take interview preparation as marthon rather than short 1 or 2 months stint.
