Final Round : Virtual Interview ( 4 Rounds )

Coding 1:

First 35 Minutes spent on LP questions:
Question : Medium level DP question.
I got confused a bit in the beginning and interviewer gave an initial push.
I solved in 10 minutes after that and interviewer looked safisfied.

Coding 2:

30 Minutes LP. Really happy with the way it went. I had some good stories to tell here.
Question: OOD , Standard LC question. I was not happy with the time complexity i achieved.

There was no requirement as such to do it in that time complexity but i knew there was better approch.
But i got a workable solution and interviewer looked satisfied. I suggested the better approch.
I hour break

Coding 3:

20 Minutes LP. It went really well.
OOD question. OOD with simple n-ray tree search logic. We discussed various approaches and did this in remaning time. I thought it went well.
I kind of asked for the suggestions on improvemtns he said this is pretty "reasonable".

Final round, System design:

35 Minutes LP, I think i did ok here. I was not very confident after this round.
System design question: It was a strightforward question and should be an easy implementation.

Got an email from recuriter to schedule another call to share the outcome of the interview. I was bit worried as i was not sure if the outcome is postive or negative. Anyway got the call very next day and i got the good news after i shared the feedback on the interview process.

I am waiting for the formal offer letter.

Practice: 2 months LC, System design practice.

One very importal thing if you are preparing for Amazon. "Amazon Leadership Principles" is the most important, Yes, MOST ! Try to share good and real stories from your experience. It will be difficult if you make up these stories as there will be so many follow up questions and there will be related questions in all rounds.

So in the 5 rounds of interviews (5 hours) around 2.5 hours was only on Leadership Principles.
