Hey Everyone,

I interviewed with Facebook for e4 role. I am waiting to hear back from them. Please find the interview experience below:

Phone Screen:

1. Binary Tree to Doubly linked List.
2. Evaluating expression ( Only with +/* operators).

Onsite Coding 1:

1. Multiplying 2 strings.
2. Course Schedule problem on LC.
   (Was able to solve both on time.)

Onsite Coding 2:

1. LFU Cache Implementation.
   I was asked only 1 question in this round.
   (Was able to solve on time, but took 1 hint from the interviewer, overall the interviewer seemed convinced in the end.)

Behavioural:
Was asked standard behavioural questions, and some questions on past work experience.
(Was able to tackle all the questions well, only 1-2 of them were a bit tricky one.)

System Design:
Designing google drive kind of system.
(Was able to tackle it, but interviewer kept bringing some scenarios, some of which i was able to answer, and in some I was stuck. This round went below average to average.)

For preparation, I used LC, and for SD I used YT only.

P.S. I have a few questions in my mind:

1. How much stress/weightage is given to System Design round for e4 role?
2. Is it a reject if you don't do well in SD and do well in the coding rounds ?
3. On what basis are you considered for a lower role, like Rotational/e3 ?

Would be great if someone could answer these.
