I am a recent grad. \nI applied to recent grad position. 4 of my friends applied too.\nOn June 25th I received email saying that lets move forward with the application.\nJune 26th - Debugging round done\nJune 27th - OA done, Completed in 40mins.\nJune 29th - Completed 3rd round(principles)\nOthers received telephonic interview confirmation the same day itself after completing 3rd round.\nI received 3 days later.\nEveryone received 30min telephonic interview.\nFriend1,Friend2,Friend3,Friend4 - 20mins of walkthrough over the code and explaining complexities!\nME - 20mins of walkthrough over the code and explaining complexities!\n\nHere is the fun part:\nEveryone(no prior experience at all) received offer confirmation the same day itself.\nME (has 3 yrs prior experience) received an email after 3 days saying we wont be moving forward.\n\nPossibilities:\n- The interviewer(senior software manager[AWS][seattle]) who interviewed me, must be showing some kind of favoritism towards candidates.\n- The hiring recruiter must have been confused with my previous application and marked it negative.\n- I MUST HAVE BEEN ON DRUGS WHILE LOOKING AT REJECTION EMAIL (coz there is no way someone would reject for my answers and explanation) \n\nAmazon Principles they followed:\n- Are right, A lot.\n- Hire and develop the best.\n\nI can clearly see these principles being applied here. WOW!!\n\n**It was a wonderful & fantastic experience overall** (ofcourse sarcasm)\n\nI request someone from the AWS team to take my final round again. I wouldnt be in this much of frustration if I have felt that I lost the interview.\nEverything was so perfect. There was not even one question I couldnt answer correctly. Not even once I went blank. But still am here, trying to figure out why life is so cruel.
