The interview process started with applying on their website, which was followed by an automatic email to take the First assessment

• It has questions on quant, verbal and some behavioral.

Then received a call from HR who mostly questioned about the experience they are looking for and start date.
Then received a request from Ford Labs for a phone technical interview.

• The interview was through go to meeting.
• The objective was to create a list from scratch.
• The interviewer did the coding and I had to suggest what to do and why.

After that I was called for on site interview at Ann Arbor.

• The interview was scheduled to make you work for a day at their office.
• Three sessions two technical and one behavioral.
• In two technical sessions, I was asked to help them work on one of the ongoing projects.
• The interview was to test how I am suited for their paired programming environment.

The experience overall was great. Ford took care of flight, travel to/from airport, stay at the hotel and lunch on the interview day. This was a startup acquired and renamed as Ford Labs which had a cool working environment. I had experience to talk to many developers there rather than sitting in a room waiting for an interviewer to come and ask questions.
